Dear Community Members,

Welcome to the first official community breakdown, a newsletter style post designed to let our community see what's going on behind the scenes here at Emberstone Roleplay, Although we are a little late to the party due to website maintenance, we would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year. So with this out the way lets jump right in.

Firstly as we move away from the holiday season, and towards early spring and Easter it is wonderful to see all our staff, helpers and developers returning to usual operating hours within the community, As we all know it was an Executive decision that gave a large majority of the staff team extended Letter Of Absence and overlook on activity requirements. However what a lot of community members wasn't aware of is a small team of Executives, Board Of Directors & some Senior Management working around the clock behind the scenes to uphold a fresh experience when everyone returns from their breaks over the Holidays.

Although we scrapped the idea of having a monthly update due to physical man-power we still retained the importance of keeping our community informed, with this in mind coming Q4 2026 there will be an alterative game mode server coming to the Emberstone Community. Now we have thought long and hard about this and ultimately are trying to see how much of a divide we have of Economy Style to Non-Economy Style players. This will still be held under the same server  and community however with one slight change that only effects this new game mode, All active LEO Departments will be merged into one Department when on active duty in this new game mode.

For clarification all departments such as Sheriff, Police & Fire will remain however upon initial launch of the second service; personnel who choose to play the alternate game mode will all be assigned into one Department, more information on this will be released closer to the time. The original server wills till receive active updates & moderation however major updates or feature additions will be pushed simultaneously meaning both server will receive their relative updates on the same date / day. If you are still confused about how this will work feel free to leave a question in our Discord or contact. support@emberstonerp.com

As many of you would've seen, in Late December 2025, Early January 2026 we moved away from both Imperial Solutions & SCNP25 Radio & Communication Systems, this was a difficult choice due to what our community was used to however due to requirements and to meet the Community's Vison & Standards we decided that it was not sustainable for long term usage due to a lot of factors, the main one been intractability.

We were not a fan of the idea of having our dispatchers primarily but also staff, businesses, gangs and departments needing multiple Third-Party applications to have full functionality. Now with this publicly detailed we will be and have been moving over to Sonoran Solutions such as SonoranCMS, SonoranCAD & SonoranRadio. We are aware that a lot of our original community members were very sceptical of this transition however after a lot of long hours of testing, demos & evaluation it is the best solution for long term growth, now these are still separate applications however they are supplied by one company, given regular fixes & updates and are all integrated with each other for seamless usages.

Although we still have the multiple application inconvenience we are much more comfortable providing support to our members with these software's, Furthermore this allows our staff, dispatchers, gangs, businesses & departments to all work seamlessly together, Gangs can access other gangs radios if given permission (The Frequency) by the gang leader, Businesses can now outsource their channels to authorised users if desired and Emergency Service personnel have a direct, streamlined form of communication with other Agencies. Also our staff can hop into almost any one of these radios via SonoranRadio software and moderate the channels.

We know that these changes are pretty large in comparison to our last changelogs & newsletters however we think its important to give our community an idea as to what's going on behind the scenes even when it seems like its radio silent.

We hope you all enjoyed this Project Overview for March, 2026 and will see you all at next months Project Overview
