Patch Notes

[1]  - Evening/Afternoon/Morning All, with a new release comes a whole lot of talking and explaining, so sit back grab a biscuit and have a read of all the latest. With the bulk of development for both Server 1 & 2 out the door we as a team are in a less panicked state, allowing us more wiggle room for creating and releasing content that is engaging but maintains our community vision. 

This changelog will briefly go over as many of the changes as possible (hopefully) making it easier for all of us to get used to using the new system, With that in mind the good thing about the way our team handles releases and content drops, essentially allows us to identify, isolate and patch bugs while the server is live to the public listing.

We expected a rocky start, especially after going through an entire rebrand and shuffle of community management in late 2025; We all were aware that going through an entire rebrand would put a pretty large impact on community growth, and it has however we used this period to build on what we had and make any critical alterations or change of community direction in this period. We are starting to see some civilians populate specific server 1, and are receiving a small steady flow of applications for various positions, However ECSO and ECFRS need filling up to enhance the quality of roleplay been carried out. Remember no matter you faction, your to roleplay as much as you can. We have noticed some LEO using discord calls to communicate with officers privately instead of using provided communications. Discord calls on patrols are NOT directly a rule breach however can be argued for breaching Meta Gaming rules in certain instances. We recommend steering away from this to protect yourselves.

We are aware that VON can be frustrating especially with multiple people in a small proximity, and are looking for ways to improve on this. Finally remember to keep flooding our suggestions with stuff to keep the experience fresh, and now lets go through what's new!

[2] New Additions:

  • State Of Emberstone | Server 1 | Remastered
    • Changes to the way the server handles config files as well as some other Optimisations
    • Stability Upgrades (Provider Side)
    • Changes to some features and removal of Client Sync executable and call-backs. (All Synchronization is now completed on the server side instead of the individual client.)
  • SonoranRadio Integration
    • Geo-Location now assigns unit radio channels & frequencies based on their location in-game, unlike before when assigned through their department.
    • Dead-Zones no longer completely mute or disable radios, now audible interference is present rather than a disconnections (Jammers still will cause dropouts on the Radios)
    • Fire & Rescue Personnel are now restricted to Hi-Vis Personal Radios due to their range and compatibility with all towers regardless of location or Geo-Location
    • Dispatch channels are now global, meaning Fire, Police & Sheriff are all in one control frequency however are moved to different channels based on location. (in-county = County RTO // in-valley = Valley RTO // statewide = auto assigned based on unit position.
    • All Emergency vehicles including Cars, Boats, Aircraft & Motorcycles now act as short range repeaters for all department issued radios, this allows point to point communication in areas such as grapeseed, LS Harbour & LSIA where Emergency Service Radio Towers are becoming out of range (Department Personnel see your FTO's for details on this)
  • SonoranCAD Integration
    • Transferred community over from ImperialCAD → SonoranCAD, this is due to this system been more reliable and having more interoperability for future features & updates.
    • SonoranCAD, FiveM integration is now live on Server 1.
    • Bodycam & Dashcam feature for Dispatch Operators & Department Supervisors (See Live Map // Your Department SOP)
    • Radio & Radar integration added.
  • SonoranCMS Integration
    • Transferred community from the Old Application System to SonoranCMS, allowing us to use it as a applications, roster, management & punishment system.
    • Ban sync & Kick Sync included, If you get banned or kicked on the discord, ingame, in-cad or in the radio, the CMS issues that punishment across all platforms to your account.

 

[3] Bug Fixes / Changes:

  • Synchronisation Glitching
    • WeatherSync has been removed from scripts and now is executed on the server side not the client.
    • TimeSync has been removed from scripts, and now is executed on the server side not the clients.
    • Player2PlayerSync has been removed from scripts and now is executed on the server side not the client.
    • OneSync is now executed locally, hopefully fixing the 'Pool Cache Full Error'.
  • Vehicle Spawn Menu
    • Corrected some spelling errors in spawn-names, all vehicles now spawn.
    • Fire Department, Fire vehicles can now be spawned through the menu.
    • Some key Sheriff vehicles now have basic liveries.
    • Ace permissions & levels have been updated for the vehicle menu to include all tiered supporter levels.
